Customer Service Representative - April 2004 to May 2006

Service Inc: Phone bank and customer service center

As a Customer Service Representative, I answered phone questions and worked as part of a team to solve problems that customers had. I also directed customers to places where they could find answers to related questions and helped provide good customer satisfaction.

As a Customer Service Manager I work closely with the Customer Service Representatives and monitor the daily workings of the office. I also complete manager tasks such as setting schedules, resolving conflicts and supervising and appraising employees.

Assistant - September 2000 to August 2001

Shift Manager - August 2001 to April 2004

Wendy's Restaurant

As an Assistant I took orders, served and cleared food and dealt with customer queries and complaints.

As a Shift Manager I maintained shift rotas, provided training and support to staff and was responsible for all health and safety aspects of the restaurant.

NSU Grounds Assistant - February 1998 to September 2000

Ground Shop, NSU

I worked with the NSU grounds staff, collecting trash, watering flowers and maintaining the campus inside and outside during two summers. I worked with other employees on related tasks and made some suggestions to improve campus operations, which were implemented.

Achievements:

My achievements include:

  • Raising customer satisfaction scores by 15% in my current role
  • Winning the Customer Service Award six months out of twelve at Wendys, for showing exceptional customer service
  • Being promoted to senior positions by both my last employers, within 1 and then 2 years of starting
