The Ultimate Guide to Job Interview Answers is one of the most popular job interview guides on the net, with an average star customer rating. As with all our recommendations, we bought a copy of the Guide to review. We wanted to be sure it lived up to our expectations.

Three of us read the entire Interview Guide and Catherine asked two of her employees to review it too.

Conclusions

It has some minor shortcomings (see Bad Points) but these aren't sufficient to devalue the book or its lessons.

If you decide it's for you, we recommend the following:

• Read the Guide once, all the way through (in a few sittings if you like)
• Wait a day, thinking about what you've read
• Then read the Guide a second time, doing the exercises it suggests
• In this second reading, highlight areas you want or need to review again
• Wait another day or so
• Go through these sections again

Ideally, you need to buy the Ultimate Interview Guide at least 5 days or so before your job interview to get its full benefit.
