Types of Phone Interview Questions

Because of this, telephone interview questions are usually more general in nature than face to face interview questions and sometimes even multiple choice.

Multiple choice interview questions will ask you, for example:

  'I have the killer instinct'".

These types of telephone interview questions try, at a very basic level, to ween out candidates wholly unsuitable for the job.

If the phone job interview questions are not multiple choice, they are still likely to be more general than regular job interview questions because the level of detail is often not needed at this stage.

However, there is no harm in preparing for your phone interview as if it were the real thing. In fact, we would positively encourage it! It is better to be over-prepared than under-prepared.
